The WTC Tragedy: Was It Prophesied?

Was the unspeakable horror of September 11 foretold by prophets and psychics? While the best-known names of prophecy seem to have failed, some eerily accurate visions and predictions have come from unexpected sources.

After the initial shock of the deeply tragic and violent attacks of September 11 on New York and Washington turned to grief, confusion and anger, many who believe in ESP, psychic predictions and prophecy were asking: Where were the psychics? Why didn't they predict this monumental act of terror and loss of human life?

Perhaps the attacks on the World Trade Center (WTC) and the Pentagon were foreseen, but apparently not by Nostradamus:

Very soon after the terrorist attacks, Internet e-mail and certain websites were flooded with "prophecies" that were said to come from the writings of the famed 16th century French astrologer, Nostradamus. Whenever some great tragedy strikes, it seems, Nostadamus's quatrains (four-line verses) are scrutinized to see if some significance can be found. Some interpreters of his writings believe he has successfully predicted the rise of Hitler, the assassination of President Kennedy and other significant events of the 20th century. one more mystery A spin off of the X-Files was a show called the lone gunman it had a story that was almost exactly like the WTC events...I was a government cover up and a remote controlled plane...the tragidy was averted.

prophesied is the wrong word - as it alludes to the person knowing before hand.

Nostradamus did not magically know nor did he make prophecies (in the religious sense).
He was either given the information or had access to future historical information.

Nostradamus wrote more than just quatrains. He documented and described the lead up to the WTC attacks in his Presages.

The Australian researcher, Ronald Pegg, found it in Presages 69 to 72.

Pegg also found the Persian Gulf War of 1991 described in Quatrains C1:12-20, 1:28-30 and 1:79-85.
And that The City at 45 Degrees in Quatrain 97 Century 6 is about Baghdad
- 45 degrees longitude and NOT latitude.

Pegg also identified the apparatus used by Nostradamus from which he gained his knowledge of future events.
